We like making hummus because, as it turns out, it’s a nice, healthy snack that lasts for more than a day. This time, we decided to make roasted garlic hummus.
FYI: Roasted garlic is eternal bliss inside your mouth. Seriously. I wouldn’t lie about something that serious. Also, is looks beautiful.

We used two heads of garlic, 1 pound of garbanzo beans, oil, cavanders seasoning, salt and pepper.
We mixed it up in the food processor, and it took a little while to get the mixture smooth enough for my taste, but you’ll just have to work with it. You can even save some of the water you cooked the garbanzo beans in if you want to use less oil.
The final product was very garlic-y but delicious. We snacked on it for 3 or 4 days. Personally, we like to use pretzels because they are cheaper than pita chips. I bet it would have been delicious on pita chips though.
